I have been providing care to the children of Sonoma County since 2002. It was my desire to find a more fun and fulfilling career after many years in the IT field. Teaching toddlers and young preschoolers is an absolute joy and I don't regret leaving the business world.
I have a Teacher Permit from the California Teacher Credentialing Department as well as 24 units of early childhood education and an AA in Business. I am a life long learner and enjoy attending workshops and classes to learn about how to improve the program and curriculum. |
Since 2004, I have served as a Board Member of the Sonoma County Child Care Association and am the current membership coordinator. Being actively involved in this local Non-Profit is my way of giving back to others in the Sonoma County child care community. It also allows me the opportunity to assist and support providers in an effort to increase the
quality of care in family childcare homes. Through education, networking
and community support we work together to build quality programs for the children.
